Wider Community Links

Links with Zambia: Mabumbu School in Mongu

We have enjoyed the partnerships we have developed with this school. The funding has actually finished, but as such an important link for our school we are looking at ways to continue the partnership.

9 Lessons Candle Service

This was a traditional nine lessons and carol service where various members of the church and local community shared readings. Mrs Keel, as our school representative, read about the shepherds visiting Jesus. It was lovely to see many school parents, past and present, sharing in the service.

Christingle Service

Children collected money in candle shaped money boxes for The Children's Society. The money boxes were exchanged for Christingles at the church service.

Young Voices open St Wilfrid's Church Christmas Fair

Our wonderful choir were asked to officially open St Wilfred's Christmas Fair.

Many people were impressed with just how well the children knew all the words to the songs, and complemented their singing ability. Yet again the choir did the school, their parents and themselves proud.

Family Ceilidh

We enjoyed a fabulous evening hosted by St Wilfred's Church in the school hall. We danced to a live ceilidh band and enjoyed a 'bring and share' meal together.
